How I work:
I use a unique integration of trauma-focused, evidence-based approaches designed to help your nervous system fully process difficult experiences so they stop intruding on your day-to-day life.
My approach combines:
EMDR
Attachment-informed EMDR
Lifespan Integration (LI)
I also integrate psychodynamic and arts-based approaches where helpful. The focus is not just understanding what’s happened—but helping it to resolve. Some sessions will involve talking, others may work more experientially.

I’m Chris, a trauma-focused psychotherapist with experience across NHS and private settings, including forensic and addiction services. I bring a steady, non-judgemental approach alongside training in evidence-based trauma therapies.
I believe in doing the work for things to genuinely change.
Trauma and Emotional Patterns
Many current difficulties are shaped by earlier experiences—sometimes obvious, sometimes subtle. Trauma isn’t always a single event. It can include:
